The Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District is located in and around the city of Camarillo, approximately 10 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean. The District was formed in 1962 under the State Public Resources Code of California.

Our District serves an area of approximately 44 square miles and has grown from one park to 27 parks since its inception 41 years ago. Within the District, a variety of recreational facilities exists, including: indoor swimming pool, lighted ball fields, tennis courts, racquetball courts, a running track, children's play equipment, picnic shelters, barbecues and much more.

This web site is designed to assist the residents of the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District and the surrounding communities in locating information about the programs, activities and facilities that we make available. We will continue updating and adding information to the site. Some pages of our web site require Adobe Acrobat Reader in order for them to be viewed in their entirety.
