Needs Assessment


Thank you to all who participated in the information gathering phase of the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District Senior and Community Recreation Facility Needs Study. On September 6, 2018 the Board of Directors of the District accepted the findings and recommendations of the study written by Greenplay, LLC.

The District and City are currently in Phase 2 of this project and have published a Request for Proposals for the Design of the proposed Senior and Community Recreation Facility. The RFP can be found in the document list below.

The District is continuing to work with the City Council on making progress toward a Senior and Community Recreation Facility that meets the needs of all. Further updates will be posted to the website so please check back in. For reference, the below documents will be maintained on this page for historical purposes during the project.
