National Trails Day

National Trails Day

Saturday, June 1

Camarillo Grove Park
6968 E. Camarillo Springs Rd, Camarillo MAP

This day is set aside to recognize all the incredible benefits that trails provide for recreation and exposure to nature. Camarillo Grove Park was damaged in the recent Hill Fire and we are asking the community to come out to help restore the beautiful hiking trail system at this natural park for all to enjoy.

Trail Work

Starts at 8am - Bring shovels, rakes, hoes & clippers to help maintain trails. Invite your family, friends, or coworkers and get involved. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty in.

Nature Talk

11am - Enjoy a free educational presentation by the Western Foundation of Vertebrate Zoology.

Guided Hike

11:30am - Explore and learn about the nature all around you on this guided hike, led by a local expert on native plants and animals. You'll discover all sorts of things about the animals that inhabit our area, and the plants that naturally grow here. Come dressed for the outdoors with comfortable walking shoes, sun protection and a water bottle.
