Senior Kits/Food Share
The Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District in cooperation with Food Share,
Ventura County, is proud to be Camarillo's distribution site for the "Senior Kits."
The first Wednesday of every month from 9:00-11:00am,
beginning April 5th, 2017.

This is a drive through program and the box of food will be loaded into your car! Enter through the 3rd driveway (closest to Burnley Street / furtherst driveway from Carmen) and exit through one of two other driveways. This is an easy access site conveniently located in the center of Camarillo off the 101 frwy.
Senior Kits are free boxes of food weighing 25-30 pounds and contains items such as:
- Canned fruits/vegetables
- Canned meat/fish
- Beans or peanut butter
- Shelf stable milk
- Pasta or rice
- Cereal or oats
- Juice and cheese
This program is for qualifying individuals age 60 or older, resident of Ventura County (participants do not have to be a United States citizen), and meets the federal income guidelines. Applicants must bring a photo ID with date of birth and proof of residence. Expired IDs are acceptable. If your photo ID does not have your current address, bring another form of proof of residence.
Acceptable photo IDs and proof of residence include:
- CA Driver's License
- CA State/Senior ID
- Military/Veteran's ID
- Out of State ID
- Resident Alien Card
- Utility Bill
To qualify for Senior Kits, senior
must earn no more than the following:
