Tennis Event Organizer or Team Captain
If you are interested in a tennis court to reserve for an organized match with the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District you must complete the following:
To reserve a tennis court for your event or team not you must follow these simple requirements:
- When an organization rents District facilities it is required that a Certificate of Insurance is on file at the District Office, with the endorsement page attached. The certificate must carry a minimum liability limit of $1,000,000 per occurrence, a 30-day cancellation clause, and a separate Endorsement Page attached with the “Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District” named as the Additional Insured. You should contact your insurance agent and have the certificate and endorsement page mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the District Office. An example of this form can be found under District Forms.
- Complete the required Application for Permit – Athletic Fields (Form 2A). The costs of the court will include an Administrative Fee, an hourly rate for court, and if needed, additional staff costs. If the courts are available, your payment is received, insurance is completed and on file at the District Office, your application is granted a Permit Number, then your reservation will be confirmed. At this time, you will receive anphone call or email from staff.
It is recommended you reserve your court a minimum of 14 day prior to rental date. Tournaments or events, we recommend at least 30 days notice.

District tennis courts may only be used to conduct tennis lessons if you are an approved Contract Instructor with the District and teach at pre-determined times.
If you are not a contract instructor with the District, or if you are planning to teach tennis lessons or operate any sporting event or class at one of our parks, contact the Sports Supervisor for Contract Instructor information.
